ScudoChromaMe™ 502MT is a 2K superhydrophobic anti-corrosion anti-soiling protective top coating designed for protecting metals and chrome-plated surfaces, especially in marine and desert environments.
Extensive testing indicates that the product is effective both on boats and on offshore above-water installations as well as heat-intensive soiling desert applications.
The top-coat preserves the original shine of surfaces and reduces the need for maintenance or polishing and it’s nano structure prevents soiling and buildup of dust and dirt particles. The highly uniform surface features of coated mirrors show no measurable loss in specular reflectance.

Remove any contamination that could interfere with the top coating adhesion.
Prior to applying ScudoChromame 502MT Metaltop it is mandatory to thoroughly clean the metal surface with the special solvent SCUDOPICKLING 502MT
DO NOT use any other solvent or pickling agent as the adhesion of ScudoChromeP4e 502PT Metal top CAN NOT be guaranteed.

Drying and curing times are determined under controlled temperatures and relative humidity below 85 %, and at average of the DFT range for the product.
Pot life after catalyzer mixing is max 2 hours
Temperature limit during application: MIN 1D"C - P4AX 40"C. Allow product to cure thoroughly before applying the next layer. Product must be perfectly dry before exposure to fog, rain or frost.
